Have been busy lately and neglecting this instagram unfortunately. Was able to grab both Avengers Infinity War and Deadpool 2 early this weekend so I decided to carve out some time. I have the 3D Blu-ray pre-ordered from the UK, but I just could not wait any longer to watch Infinity War so I grabbed the 4K copy too. Quality: You can really tell how much money was invested into the production of this movie. Every scene just bleeds money, but with the box office they have achieved, I'm guessing it was well worth it. Every scene just looks incredibly beautiful. The only complaints I have is the weird omission of Dolby Vision from this 4K disc and the fact that the IMAX aspect ratios were not utilized on the disc. 4.5/5 ⭐ Quality: Similar to the recent string of Marvel audio tracks, you really need to crank up the volume knob to fully enjoy this title. The action scenes are non-stop, this Dolby Atmos track will surely give your sound system a heavy workout. 4.5/5 ⭐ Story: 18 MCU movies all leading to this one. It's definitely packed with story and characters. This story could very well have been over 4 hours, but they had to be realistic and trim it down to less than 2.5 hours. First one was pretty good, I thought this one was even better. Quality: One of my favorite discs to show off 4K HDR quality to friends who come over. Some dazzling scenes with great lighting effects in the movie. 5/5 ⭐ Quality: Much like the first one, this comes with a very loud Dolby Atmos track that works out your speakers. A lot is going on throughout the movie and there’s rarely any rest time for your ears. 4.5/5 ⭐ Story: Definitely like the direction where this franchise is headed. One of the first movies released in 4K Blu-ray format from my memory and I believe this was my second 4K purchase.. Quality: For one of the first discs released on the format, I would say this was one of the better ones. Reviewing it now though, it isn't as impressive as some of the more recent discs. 4/5 ⭐ Quality: A movie with a lot of gunshot, explosions and action. The Dolby Atmos track handles well but does not separate itself from some of the other action standouts in terms of audio. 4/5 ⭐ Story: The movie did not do well with critics nor did it resonate too well with audiences but I enjoyed watching it. Definitely not a top favourite of mine, but better than what most people give it credit for. 4/5 ⭐ Enjoyment: This movie worked for me, an action flick with a gangster robot who's nice at heart.
