The monastic choir played an important role in the life of the monks. It was here they sang the seven daily offices and the night office of Mattins. At Winchester the choir stalls date from the early 14th Century and are thought to be the creation of a Norfolk carpenter, William Lyngwode.

An abandoned high school with a graveyard on site? Yes please!♀️
Completed in 1930, Bobo Senior High School was named after the Bobo family who were some of the first settlers in Coahoma County. The family donated the land to the city of Clarksdale under an agreement it would be used for education. Gothic Revival in style, the 3-story school was later named Clarksdale High. It was closed in 1999 and currently sits abandoned. Graves of thirteen members of the Bobo family remain on the site, with dates ranging from 1801 to 1895.
