BACK DAY. Building more size through my back was a massive focus of mine during my offseason - it’s super important for creating an hourglass shape and while my back is always relatively lean, it lacked width, especially through my lower lats. Still pushing hard once a week - this was Monday’s session. Row to grow 1️⃣ Assisted pull-ups 4 x 8 (working sets). Do 2 warm-up sets first. 2️⃣ Single arm DB row - 4 x 8 3️⃣ DB pullovers - 4 x 8. Lie with your shoulder blades on the bench, stretch your arms down so your elbows go past your ears then come partially back up (too far up and you’ll work your chest). 4️⃣ Lat pulldowns 4 x 8 (could also do it on the usual cable machine with a wide bar) 5️⃣ Machine iso row - single arm. 4 x 8. Standing up to target lower lats (or just use a seated row machine if your gym doesn’t have one of these). 6️⃣ Single-arm cable row - 4 x 10-12 as a finisher Wearing the @echt_apparel force scrunch leggings in an XS (orange is one of my favourite colours so I LOVE this pair).
