The Rosette Nebula
Say whatever you want, this is one of the prettiest objects in outerspace you can capture from your own backyard if you ask me!
Fortunately the Rosette nebula lies in a fairly easy to find spot next to the famous Orion constellation.
With some binoculars you can easily see the little starcluster in the middle. You can also faintly make out the nebula from the background sky!
Fun fact: most people refer to the Rosette nebula as the “flower” nebula however, when you look at the nebula at a certain angle you can make out a human skull —
