I have played A Feast for Odin 14 times so far, and I still don't have a go-to strategy. I try different things almost every time, and the only thing I can say is that getting animals from the beginning seems quite powerful.  Emigrations are very helpful too if you do them early.  And I still haven't figured out the base game islands. I've tried getting different ones, and they all seem to cause more problems than they solve. If I get them early and try covering them first to use the bonuses, I end up having to cover only the negative points on my main board which is always a bad idea because it always gives you a hard time (due to restrictions in covering the income values), and you also lose the final income which is 18 points. And covering the main board first, delays covering the island and getting the bonuses and it's very challenging to cover the whole island by the end of the game. Because the rules are simple, the artwork and iconography are stunning but above all because of this capture and release of your workers mechanic. The more you place workers on an action area the more you get (resources, extra actions, etc) the more you will attract your opponents in capturing your meeples. Then up to you to try to free them before you have no more. Excellent worker placement game. Highly recommended Cannot wait to play Paladins . . Nous nous sommes tellement amusés avec ce jeu de placement d'ouvriers que nous avons fait 2 parties d'affilees. Outre une prise en main aisée et des illustrations chattoyantes, ce principe de capture des ouvriers des adversaires est jouissif. Au plus vous posez d'ouvriers sur une zone au plus vous récoltez mais au plus vous attirez l'attention sur vous. Et vos viles adversaires auront tôt fait de vous les capturer. À vous ensuite de libérer votre main d'œuvre sous peine d'être à court. Excellent jeu de placement d'ouvriers que je recommande chaudement #architectsofthewestkingdom
